Men's Netters Defeat UNLV

Oklahoma State's men's tennis team defeated the Nevada-Las Vegas Rebels, 5-2, on Monday in Las Vegas.
The Cowboys got off to a quick start by winning two of three doubles matches to take an early 1-0 lead.
Matt Prentice and Fran Krepelka teamed up at the No. 1 doubles position to beat Thomas Schneiter and Andreas Mauer, 8-4.
Jiri Jezek and Angel Diankov clinched the doubles point at the No. 2 doubles position. The duo came from behind to defeat Thomas Michaud and Leslie Eisinga, 9-8.
"This was a fantastic comeback in doubles," said assistant coach Brad Chiller. "Jiri and Angel did a great job of coming coming back to win the doubles point."
The Cowboys rallied through the singles matches, winning four of six. Four of the six singles matches were stretched into three sets.
Krepelka defeated Romain Tug at the No. 2 singles position, 6-0, 7-5. Diankov defeated Michaud ,6-4, 4-6, 6-1, at the No. 4 singles spot.
Mike McCarty clinched the match at the No. 5 singles spot. McCarty defeated Eisinga, 7-6, 4-6, 6-2.
"Mike played great under all the pressure that was put on him," said Chiller. "It was good to see us come out with three wins from the four matches that were forced into three sets."
The Cowboys will return to action on Tuesday when they face Drake in Las Vegas.
