Trisha Skibbe Named Honorable Mention All-Big 12

DALLAS, Texas - Oklahoma State sophomore Trisha Skibbe was named an honorable mention All-Big 12 pick in a vote of league coaches it was announced today by the conference office.
The 6-2 center leads OSU in scoring at 15.8 points per game and rebounding at seven caroms per outing. Skibbe has also recorded a team-high 22 blocks this season.
The Oxford, Kan., native has played in all 29 of the Cowgirls' games and is hitting at a team-best 48 percent clip from the floor, including 50 percent beyond the three-point line.
Skibbe recorded her eighth double-double in last Wednesday's regular season finale at Texas A&M, pouring in 30 points and grabbing 12 rebounds to help OSU to a 62-49 win.
The No. 8-seeded Cowgirls will square off with the Aggies again at noon on Tuesday in the first round of the Big 12 Tournament being held at Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Mo.
