He became just the sixth active coach to reach that mark, joining Jim Phelan, Bob Knight, Lefty Drissell, Jerry Tarkanian and Lou Henson. Coach Sutton was the eighth-fastest ever to 700 victories by games played (975), and with one more win, will have the second-most wins ever through the first 32 seasons of a career behind Dean Smith, surpassing Bob Knight.

20 Wins Becomes the Norm at Oklahoma State
For the fifth-straight season, and the 10th time in the Coach Sutton era, Oklahoma State has reached the 20-win mark for a single season. In fact, this is the 24th time in OSU history that a team has reached 20 wins, and the third time that the Cowboys have won 20 or more games in five-consecutive seasons. OSU won 20 or more in six-straight seasons from 1944 until 1949, and accomplished that feat five times from 1991-95. Below is a list of the most wins in a four-year span at Oklahoma State, with a minimum of 90 victories.

Cheyne Gadson, starting the third-straight game for injured Mo Baker, scored a career-high 17 points on 7-of-12 shooting, including three three-pointers. As a team, Oklahoma State shot 52.1 percent from the floor and 58.3 from beyond the arc. Bernard King scored 18 points for the Aggies, but took 20 shots to do it. Up Next: The Big 12 Tournament
As of print time, it is undetermined as to what seed Oklahoma State will hold at next week's Big 12 Tournament. With a win over Texas A&M Saturday night, the Cowboys can fare no worse than the No. 5 seed, and will need some help over the weekend. A loss by Missouri to Kansas on Sunday would guarantee the Cowboys no worse than the No. 4 seed, and if Texas Tech were to lose at Baylor or if Texas were to lose at Iowa State, OSU would gain the No. 3 seed.
