Cowgirl Golf To Compete In Wildcat Invitational

Stillwater, Okla. - Oklahoma State's ninth-ranked Cowgirl golf team travels to Tucson, Ariz., this week to compete in the Wildcat Invitational, hosted by the University of Arizona.
The tournament will take place at The Raven at Sabino Springs, which plays to a par 72 on the 6,119 yard course. It will consist of 36 holes played on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday.
Seventeen of the 18 teams competing in the tournament are ranked in the top-50 nationally, including top-ranked Auburn, No. 2 Tulsa, third-ranked Duke, No. 4 Tennessee and fifth-ranked Texas. Also competing are 10th-ranked Arizona State, No. 11 Arizona, 12th-ranked USC, No. 18 Pepperdine and 20th-ranked Washington.
Other teams entered in the tournament are 21st-ranked UCLA, No. 23 New Mexico, 26th-ranked New Mexico State, No. 31 Stanford, 41st-ranked San Jose State, No. 50 Oregon State and SMU.
It will be Oklahoma State's second tournament of the spring season. The Cowgirls finished third at the TRW Regional Challenge earlier this month.
