Cowgirl Golfers In Fifth Place After Two Rounds At TRW Regional Challenge

Palos Verdes, Calif. - Oklahoma State's Cowgirl golf team is tied with Wake Forest for fifth place after two rounds here Tuesday afternoon at the TRW Regional Challenge, hosted by Ohio State University. The Cowgirls shot a 300 on Tuesday, four strokes better than Monday's round.
Junior Christi Cano is tied for third place with a two-day total of one-over-par 143. She is five strokes back of the leader, Arizona's Lorena Ochoa, and two strokes behind Stacy Prammanasudh of Tulsa, who is in second place.
Junior Linda Wessberg is tied for 15th place with a two-day total of 149, while senior Emma Zackrisson is tied for 45th place with a 155. Freshman Annie Thurman is tied for 52nd with a 157, and freshman Jenny Karr rounds out the Cowgirl scorers with a 164.
The tournament will conclude on Wednesday with a final round of 18 holes.
