Cowgirls Renew Bedlam Series With Home Game Against Oklahoma

Oklahoma State's Cowgirl basketball team (11-9 overall, 3-4 Big 12) will host the 68th edition of the Bedlam Series when fourth-ranked Oklahoma (16-2, 6-1) comes calling on Tuesday night at 7 p.m.
The Sooners are coming off a 72-40 win at Texas A&M on Saturday night and have won two straight. OU defeated the Cowgirls 65-48 in Norman on Jan. 9, holding OSU to a season-low 29-percent shooting effort from the floor.
With a win in Stillwater, OU would even the all-time series at 34-34. OSU holds a 16-12 mark against the Sooners in Gallagher-Iba Arena, but OU has won three straight in Stillwater and five in a row overall.
The Learfield Sports Network, KSBI (Ch. 52) in Oklahoma City and (Ch.7) in Stillwater, KWBT (Ch. 19) in Tulsa, KSWO (Ch.7) in Lawton and KOMI (Ch. 24) in Woodward, will televise the contest. Ed Murray will handle the play-by-play duties, while Jenny Bramer will provide color analysis.
COMING UP
OSU will travel to Waco, Texas, on Feb. 2 to take on the
nationally-ranked Baylor Bears (16-3, 4-3) at 7 p.m.
The Bears lead the all-time series 8-6 after splitting the two games last year with the Cowgirls. OSU holds a 5-0 record against Baylor in Stillwater after coming away with a 69-66 win in overtime last year.
LAST TIME OUT
Oklahoma State won its first conference road game of the season on Saturday,
downing Kansas 73-48 at Allen Fieldhouse. All five OSU starters scored in
double figures and were responsible for 71 of the team's 73 points. Senior
Terrisha Osborn scored a career-high 13 points, while sophomore Trisha
Skibbe continued her impressive play, logging her second consecutive
double-double with 20 points and 13 rebounds. The Cowgirls outrebounded the
Jayhawks by a 48-26 margin and knocked down 17-of-20 free throws.
