BOULDER Colo. (AP) - Mandy Nightingale had 16 points and five assists as No. 21 Colorado ended a three-game losing streak with a 79-57 victory Saturday night over Oklahoma State.
Britt Hartshorn added 14 points, Tera Bjorklund 12, and Eisha Bohman 10 as Colorado (11-6, 1-3 Big 12) also ended a three-game home losing streak to Oklahoma State (9-7, 1-2). Colorado last beat Oklahoma State at home on Jan. 6, 1995.
Trisha Skibbe scored the first 13 points for Oklahoma State and finished with 24 and 11 rebounds. Thia Willis added 11 points as Oklahoma State lost its second straight.
Oklahoma State never got closer than 42-26 in the second half.
Colorado went on a 13-4 run with five points coming from Bjorklund to extend the lead to 55-30. Baskets by Sabrina Scott and Linda Lappe gave Colorado its biggest lead at 59-31 midway through the half.
Willis sank three 3-pointers and hit a short jumper over the next five minutes to cut the deficit to 67-48, but Nightingale and Jenny Roulier hit a 3-pointers in the last 3:41 for Colorado, which shot 50 percent in the second half.
