Cowgirl Golf Hosts Big 12 Invitational

Stillwater, Okla. - Oklahoma State's Cowgirl golf team, which finished fifth at last year's NCAA Championships, will host the Big 12 Invitational women's golf tournament, Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 1-2, at Karsten Creek Golf Course in Stillwater.
All of the Big 12 schools will participate, as well as four other nationally-ranked teams. The teams participating in the tournament are: 28th-ranked Baylor, Colorado, Iowa State, Kansas, No. 48 Kansas State, 38th-ranked Missouri, No. 35 Nebraska, 17th-ranked Northwestern, No. 14 Ohio State, 18th-ranked Oklahoma, No. 10 Oklahoma State, 20th-ranked TCU, No. 7 Texas, 39th-ranked Texas A&M, No. 40 Texas Tech and 11th-ranked Tulsa.
The tournament will consist of 36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday. Teams will play together, i.e., all five OSU team members will play the same hole.
