OSU Tennis Ready to Open 2001 Fall Season

Cowboy seniors Matt Prentice and Fran Krepelka will team up with Cowgirl junior Linda Faltynkova and sophomore Katarzyna Kolodynska at the World Team Tennis National Collegiate Championships in San Diego.
The tournament will be made up of 16 teams from across the country. The field for the WTT National Collegiate Championships is made up of qualifiers from WTT Regional Tournaments held last season, national at-large selections based on combined season-ending ITA national rankings, and the champion from last season's WTT National Small College Championships.
Each team is comprised of at least two men, two women and a coach. Each team match consists of five sets, with one set each of men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles.
The rest of the Cowboy squad will be playing in Tulsa at the Hurricane Invitational. Leading the way will be junior Jiri Jezek and sophomore Justin Ewert. Also playing for the Cowboys will be freshmen Mike McArty and Ben Facker.
The Cowgirls will take the rest of their squad to Las Vegas when they compete in the Las Vegas Invitational. The Cowgirls will be led by seniors Ashleigh Dolman and Dominika Olszewska and juniors Kate Vasylyeva and Erin Pauchnik. Freshman Amber Elliott will make her Cowgirl debut when she competes in Las Vegas.
