Maria Bod?n Earns Accolades On, Off The Course

Stillwater, Okla. - Oklahoma State golfer Maria Bod?n was honored for her efforts both on and off the course this past week, earning second-team All-America honors from the National Golf Coaches Association as well as NGCA All-Scholar accolades. Junior Emma Zackrisson was also named an NGCA All-Scholar athlete.
Bod?n, who finished her collegiate golfing career with a 10th-place finish at the NCAA Championships last week, was also named to the first team of the 2001 Verizon Academic All-District VI Women's Spring At-Large team. The group consists of female student-athletes in all spring sports from Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, New Mexico and Oklahoma. She is now qualified for Academic All-America awards to be announced in June.
