No. 15 Cowgirl Tennis Wins Tenth Consecutive Match

BOULDER, Colo. - Oklahoma State's 15th-ranked women's tennis team (15-3 overall, 6-1 Big 12) claimed its 10th consecutive victory by defeating Colorado, 6-1, on Sunday afternoon.
"Everybody played really well," said head coach Julius Lubicz-Majewski. "It's hard to play in this high altitude."
Senior Maria Phillips recorded her tenth-straight victory by beating Dominique Olslenska in straight sets, 6-3, 6-0, improving her record to 13-4. Sophomore Linda Faltynkova captured her ninth win in a row by defeating Karoline Graeubig, 7-5, 6-4. Faltynkova upped her record to 15-2 on the season.
OSU's 17th-ranked doubles team of Maria Phillips and junior Ashleigh Dolman recorded the first victory of the day for the Cowgirls by defeating Suzanne Bjorkman and Lia Dimingo, 8-3, at the No. 1 position.
Faltynkova and freshman Katia Kolodynskia ran their record to 18-0 by defeating the duo of Dominique Lemperle and Lauren Carey, 8-3, at the No. 2 position.
"I am very proud of our girls," Lubicz-Majewski said. "They played a tough match."
OSU will return to action on April 14 when they host Baylor at the DeBois Tennis Center.
