Cowgirl Golf In Third Place After Two Rounds

Brown Summitt, N.C. - Oklahoma State senior Maria Bod?n and sophomore Linda Wessberg are tied for fourth place after two rounds of the Bryan National Collegiate here Saturday afternoon, pacing the Cowgirls to a third place in the standings. Bod?n shot a one-under-par 71 today, giving her a 145 for the touranment.
Oklahoma State trails Duke by 14 strokes and Wake Forest by four. The Blue Devils shot a 288 on Saturday giving them a two-day total of 577. Wake Forest, which was tied with OSU after the first round, shot a 293 for a 587. The Cowgirls shot a 297, giving them a 591 two-day total. Tennessee (601) and Furman (603) round out the top five.
OSU junior Emma Zackrisson shot a 74 on Saturday, giving her a 150 total and a 17th-place in the standings. Sophomore Christi Cano is tied for 26th with a 151, while JoAnn Heller rounds out the Cowgirls golfers with a 168.
The tournament will conclude on Sunday with a final round of 18 holes.
