STILLWATER, Okla. - Aaron Hill, a 6-4, 180-pound shooting guard from Gunnison, Utah, has signed a letter of intent with the Oklahoma State men's basketball program.
"Aaron is a really great shooter who has the ability to change the game with his shooting touch," said OSU assistant coach Glynn Cyprien. "We expect him to contribute right away and challenge for a starting role next season."
Hill played the 1999-00 season at Salt Lake City Community College before redshirting the 2000-01 season. He averaged 12.1 points per game in 18.4 minutes of action in 30 games off of the bench in 1999-00. Hill shot 100-of-223 (45 percent ) from behind the arc for SLCC which finished 23-8 overall and 13-5 in the Scenic West Conference.
Hill played his high school basketball at Gunnison Valley High before enrolling at Salt Lake City Community College in 1999.
Hill will have three years of eligibility at Oklahoma State and is the second Cowboy signee of the spring, joining point guard Cheyne Gadson, who signed with Oklahoma State out of Westchester Community College Wednesday.
