Cowboy Basketball Players Receive Postseason Honors

Baker was a first team All-Big 12 selection by the Associated Press as well as the Dallas Morning News while also garnering first-team All-District 12 honors by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC). Tuesday he was named to the Big 12's All-Newcomer team along with teammate Victor Williams.
Junior forward Fredrik Jnz'n received third-team All-Big 12 plaudits by the AP and was also named to the Academic All-Big 12 first team along with his former roommate and teammate, the late Nate Fleming.
Sophomore Andre Williams also garned mention on a couple of Big 12 speciality teams, as he was named to the All-Defense and All-Bench teams.
The Big 12 Conference will release the coaches All-Big 12 team tomorrow in Kansas City, Mo.
Oklahoma State, the No. 5 seed in the Big 12 tournament, will open with No. 12 Texas Tech on Thursday at 2:20 p.m. The game will be broadcast on ESPN Regional television with Dave Armstrong and Paul Splitorff calling the action.
