Oklahoma State's men's tennis team dropped all three doubles matches and five-of-six singles matches before losing to No. 43 Baylor on Sunday in Waco.
Coming off a victory over Big 12 foe Texas Tech, the Cowboys were looking to extend their Big 12 record at Baylor. Baylor, however, ruined the Cowboys three-match win streak by defeating them 6-1 on Sunday in Waco.
The Cowboys lone victory came at the No. 4 position where junior Fran Krepelka eased past Zoltan Papp in three sets, 6-7 (5-7), 6-3, 6-3, to record the Cowboys only point.
Baylor recorded the first victory when 28th-ranked Reiner Neurohr and Mark Williams upended 26th-ranked Eru Lyndon and Matt Prentice, 8-4, at the No. 1 position. The Bears notched the first team point when Nathan McGregor and Cory Ross defeated senior Chris Bates and Krepelka, 8-4, at the No. 2 position.
The Cowboys will return to action this weekend when they host 15th-ranked Texas at the DeBois Center on Saturday and 4th-ranked Texas A&M on Sunday. Both matches are slated to start at 1 p.m.
