Oklahoma State's men's tennis team will travel to Las Vegas, Nev., to take on Northern Iowa and UMKC on Thursday.
The 32nd-ranked Cowboys are coming off a 2-1 record last weekend at the Corpus Chrisit Invitational.
The first match, the Cowboys took on the 55th-ranked Runnin' Rebels of UNLV. UNLV won three-of-five singles matches and both doubles matches en route to a 4-2 victory over the Pokes. Junior Matt Prentice and sophomore Jiri Jezek were the only two that picked up wins for the Cowboys.
The Cowboys bounced back the next day when they blanked Texas-Pan American, 4-0. The Cowboys swept all three singles matches and both doubles matches cruising to a 4-0 victory over the Broncs. Prentice, sophomore Fran Krepelka and freshman Anthony Zafiris all picked up victories for the Pokes.
The Cowboys continued their winning streak when they defeated Ball State. The Cowboys won three-of-five singles matches and two-of-three doubles matches en route to a 4-2 victory over the Cardinals.
Prentice won all of his matches improving his record to 8-3 on the year, while Krepelka and Jezek picked up big wins, too.
The Cowboys will continue Big 12 play on March 23 when they travel to Lubbock, Texas, to take on Texas Tech.
