Cowboy Tennis Prepares for Big 12 play

Oklahoma State's 17th-ranked men's tennis team opens conference play this weekend as they host Nebraska on Saturday at the DeBois Center.
The Cowboys enter Big 12 play with a 4-2 mark on the season after placing seventh at this year's ITA National Team Indoor Championships in Seattle.
Junior Matt Prentice comes into the weekend ranked No. 53 and leads the Cowboys at the No. 1 position. The New Zealand native sports a 2-2 record on the year and already owns an upset over the country's third-ranked player.
Senior Chris Bates holds the No. 2 position, while sophomore Eru Lyndon rounds up the top half of the lineup at the No. 3 position. Junior Fran Krepelka holsters the No. 4 position, while sophomore Jiri Jezek and freshman Anthony Zafiris rounds the lower half of the lineup at the No. 5 and 6 positions.
The Cowboys have two doubles squads that are ranked in the top 50 in the nation. Prentice and Lyndon lead the Cowboys at the No. 1 position and are ranked No. 43, while Bates and Krepelka are ranked No. 35 at the No. 2 position.
