WHO'S HOT
#12 Jessica Bates -- Jessica has scored in double figures the last three
games. She had a double-double vs. Wichita State with 23 points and 10
rebounds, both season highs.
#20 Shelby Hutchens -- Shelby has seven double-figure scoring games this season, including the last two. She was named to the all-tournament team of the Islander Classic, and had a career-high nine assists vs. Eastern Michigan in the Bahamas.
#21 Mandy Stuber -- After playing sparingly in nine games this season, Mandy went off vs. Texas A&M, scoring a career-high 16 points on 6-of-7 shooting, including 4-of-4 from three-point range.
#22 Kara Faulk -- Kara is averaging a double-double over the last three games, with 18.3 points and 10.7 rebounds. She was named the MVP of the Nassau Sunsplash Shootout after she scored a career-high 24 points vs. Alabama. She tied that high against Baylor.
#32 Chantoya Hawkins -- Chantoya has six double-figure scoring games this season, including two in the last three games. She had a season-high eight assists vs. Texas A&M, and was named to the all-tournament team of the Islander Classic.
MISCELLANEOUS NOTES
-- Oklahoma State scored a season-high 95 points vs. West Virginia, the most
for the Cowgirls since a 95-point performance vs. Texas A&M in Stillwater on
Feb. 11, 1998.
-- OSU's 51.6 percent shooting vs. Texas A&M on Jan. 27 was a season high. It was also the highest since the Cowgirls shot 54.3 percent vs. the Aggies in Stillwater last season (Feb. 19).
-- The Cowgirls had a season-high six blocked shots vs. Baylor last week, the most since OSU had six vs. Colorado last season in Boulder. Mandy Stuber led the Cowgirls with three, while Shelby Hutchens had a key block of a Sheila Lambert shot attempt at the buzzer to insure the win.
-- Kara Faulk is just 14 points shy of the 500-point milestone. She has twice scored 24 points in a game this season, a career best.
-- Chantoya Hawkins is just 20 points shy of the 500-point plateau. She has 480 points in hertwo-year career.
-- OSU has limited its opponents to less than 60 points on seven occasions, and is 7-0 in those games. The Cowgirls have give up 70 or more points in just three games this year.
-- Although most members of the team would rather forget the 29-point performance vs. Texas Tech in Lubbock, it seems to have done some good. Prior to that contest, OSU was averaging 62.8 points per game. In the last three games, the Cowgirls are averaging 74.3 points per contest.
