Cowgirls Place Four On Academic All-Big 12 Team

Dallas, Texas - Oklahoma State's Cowgirl basketball team had four players named to the Academic All-Big 12 team, it was announced today by the conference office.
It was the third-consecutive honor for both Kara Faulk and Devon Magness. Faulk, a junior from Sapulpa, Okla., majoring in health promotions, earned her third-straight first-team accolade. Magness, a senior from Purcell, Okla., majoring in education, earned her second first-team honor and third overall.
Shelby Hutchens was named first-team Academic All-Big 12 for the first time. The sophomore from Stillwater, Okla., is majoring in chemical engineering. Jessica Spinner, a junior from Perth, Western Australia, earned second-team honors, majoring in sociology.
The Cowgirls will host the Nebraska Huskers in the final game of the regular season Wednesday night at 8:30 p.m. in Gallagher-Iba Arena following the men's game with Baylor at 6 p.m.
