Cowgirl Softball Drops Two at UTA Intercollegiate

Grand Prairie, Texas - Oklahoma State's Cowgirl softball team dropped two games in the UTA/Isuzu Intercollegiate Tournament Saturday afternoon and closed out the tournament with a 2-3 record.
In the first game, the Cowgirls lost, 5-1, to Texas-Arlington. The game went 10 innings, as a 1-1 tie after seven. UTA scored four in the top of the 10 for the win. All six runs in the game were unearned.
In game two, Houston defeated Oklahoma State, 9-2, on 15 hits. The Cowgirls scored one in the top of the first, but the Cougars scored five in the bottom of the inning and never trailed again.
Oklahoma State (2-3) will travel to Tucson, Ariz., next weekend, Feb. 16-18, as the Cowgirls will compete in the Arizona/Pepsi Softball Classic.
