Oklahoma State owns the all-time series with Wichita State, 28-7, including a 13-2 mark in Stillwater. WSU won last year's game, a 61-59 victory over the Cowboys in Levitt Arena. The series started in 1934 with OSU recording a 24-17 win, and was a home-and-home series from 1946-57. The two teams played in the NCAA Regional in 1965, and then the series ended for 25 years. The Shockers hosted OSU in 1990, and the Cowboys returned the favor in 1991. The two teams have played the last two years, once in Stillwater and once in Wichita.

WSU outrebounded UTA, 39-35, but did have more turnovers (18) than did the Mavericks (15). Wichita State took a 47-36 lead into the lockerroom, but outscored UTA just 55-53 in the second stanza.
Cowboys In The Polls
Oklahoma State is currently ranked 12th in the USA Today/ ESPN Coaches Poll and 14th in the Associated Press. OSU is receiving 925 points in the AP poll (80 behind No. 13 Kentucky) and 442 points in the ESPN poll (two behind No. 11 UCLA). Four of Oklahoma State's opponents this season are ranked in the top 25 of both polls (Missouri, Kansas, Fresno State, Ball State), and five more are receiving votes in at least one of the polls.
OSU Dominates Second Half
Despite trailing at some point in the first half of all seven games this season, Oklahoma State has dominated the second period. Through two hours and 20 minutes of second-half play this season, the Cowboys have trailed for just six minutes. OSU trailed Siena College for 96 percent of that time. The only other game that OSU has trailed an opponent in the second half was last Saturday vs. North Texas, when OSU trailed for the first 17 seconds of the second period.
J?nz?n Moving Up Scoring Chart
Senior forward Fredrik J?nz?n moved into the top 30 in career scoring at Oklahoma State with his 17 points vs. Siena. He now has 923 points in his three-plus year career, just 77 from reaching the 1,000-point plateau. He needs 17 points to move past Clayton Carter for 29th place and 47 points to move into the top-25 all-time.
J?nz?n Moves Into Top 10 in Rebounds
In one-single game vs. TCU, senior Fredrik J?nz?n moved pass three former players on the career-rebounding charts, surpassing Chianti Roberts, Joe Atkinson and Adrian Peterson. With three more boards vs. North Texas, Fred now has 580 rebounds in his OSU career. He needs just 21 rebounds to move into ninth place, and 183 to move into eighth place on the career rebounding list.
Non-Conference Record in Gallagher-Iba Arena
Oklahoma State is 97-1 in non-conference games held in Gallagher-Iba Arena since an 81-75 loss to Missouri Southern on Jan. 7, 1987. The only loss during that span was an 83-81 loss to Florida Atlantic on Dec. 1, 1998, when the Cowboys were ranked 11th in the nation. That loss broke a string of 79-consecutive home non-league wins for OSU. Dating back the last 20 years to 1981, Oklahoma State is 126-7 (.947) in those types of games.
Baker All-Around Player
Senior guard Maurice Baker is one of the best all-around players in the league, as evidenced by his rankings in the Big 12 statistics. Baker ranks in the top 10 in virtually every category: fourth in scoring (19.4), sixth in rebounding (8.1), 11th in field-goal percentage (56.8), eighth in assists (4.86), fifth in free-throw percentage (95.8), eighth in three-point shooting (48.1) and fifth in offensive rebounds (3.83).

Antoine Broxsie leads the team with eight blocked shots, followed by Andre Williams and Ivan McFarlin with seven apiece. Fredrik J?nz?n has six, while Maurice Baker has two. Williams had four vs. Cincinnati, and Broxsie had three vs. TCU and New Orleans. McFarlin had three vs. North Texas.
Andre Williams Moves Up Blocked Shots Chart
Oklahoma State junior Andre Williams recorded four blocks vs. Cincinnati, and now has six in five games this season. He has become just the fifth player in school history to reach the century mark in blocked shots in his career. The amazing fact is that he accomplished that feat in just two seasons, the second Cowboy ever to do so. Byron Houston had 131 blocks after his sophomore year, and also owns the all-time career blocked-shots record with 223.
Melvin Stealing the Show
Junior guard/forward Melvin Sanders stole the show vs. North Texas. With OSU trailing the Eagles, 37-35, to start the second half, Sanders had three steals in the first 1-1/2 minutes, converting into four fast-break points and giving the Cowboys the lead for good. He finished the game with five steals, tying his career high at Oklahoma State.
Victor Taking Charge
Junior guard Victor Williams took charge in the Siena College game in Las Vegas. He scored eight points in a three-minute span as OSU went on a 20-0 run. This season, Victor is averaging 13.8 points and 3.6 assists per game. He is also shooting 40.0 percent from behind the three-point arc and 85.2 percent from the free-throw line.
Baker Nearly Records Triple-Double
Senior guard Maurice Baker scored 29 points, pulled down 10 rebounds and dished out eight assists in OSU's 81-58 win over Austin Peay, just two assists shy of his second-career triple-double. Baker had 19 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists vs. Texas-San Antonio last season, jus the second triple-double in OSU history and only the third by a Big 12 player.
Coach Sutton Reaches Milestone
Oklahoma State's 69-62 win over Cincinnati gave Coach Eddie Sutton his 250th victory at OSU, and his 680th win overall. With his 256 wins at Oklahoma State, he is now just four wins shy of matching his 260 victories while at Arkansas.
