ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Oklahoma State's 17th-ranked women's golf team is in 15th place after the first round of the Dick McGuire Invitational here Thursday, shooting a 26-over 318 during the round.
Senior Maria Boden is tied for eighth individually, shooting a one-over-par 74 for the six-way tie. Arizona's Lorena Ochoa sits atop the individual leaderboard with a four-under 69.
The Wildcats also the the team race with a two-stroke lead over second-place Pepperdine. Pepperdine is followed by Tulsa (plus-nine), Oklahoma (plus-12) and Oregon State (plus-13) rounds out the top five.
The Tournament will continue on Friday with another round of 18 holes, and conclude on Saturday with a final round of 18.
