Cowgirl Golf To Compete In Dick McGuire Invitational

STILLWATER, Okla. Oklahoma State's 17th-ranked women's golf team travels to Albuquerque, N.M., this week to compete in the 22nd-annual Comcast/Dick McGuire Invitational, hosted by the University of New Mexico.
The 18-team field includes top-ranked Arizona, sixth-ranked Tulsa, No. 14 Pepperdine, 18th-ranked UCLA, No. 19 TCU, 23rd-ranked New Mexico, Baylor, Brigham Young, Colorado State, Hawaii, Nevada-Reno, Oklahoma, Oregon State, Texas A&M, UTEP, Texas Tech and Washington.
The Cowgirls are led by senior Maria Bodn, a two-time All-American who is ranked fourth in the nation individually according to the MasterCard Collegiate Golf Rankings. Also competing for OSU are juniors McKenzie Gibson and Emma Zackrisson, and sophomores Christi Cano and Linda Wessberg.
The UNM Championship Course plays to a par-73 on 6,069 yards. Tee times will be at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday and Friday, with an 8 a.m. start on Saturday. The tournament will consist of 18 holes played each day.
