INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (OSU Athletics http://www.okstate.com) -- Oklahoma State's nationally-ranked doubles squad of Ashleigh Dolman and Maria Galoustova have been selected to participate in the 2000 NCAA Doubles Championships.
The 32-team field will begin competition on May 22 at the Ralph-Straus Tennis Center on the campus of Pepperdine University.
"I am very proud of them. They both work extremely hard and this is a great reward for them," Cowgirl head coach Julius Lubicz-Majewski said.
Dolman, a sophomore from London, England, and Galoustova, a junior from Moscow, Russia, led the Cowgirls to a 16-5 record overall and a fourth-place finish in the Big 12 Conference.
Competing at the No. 1 doubles slot, Dolman and Galoustova closed out the spring season in fine fashion, winning 11 of 13 matches to finish with a 14-8 mark.
During the fall campaign, the duo amassed a 16-3 record that included a 12-match winning streak. The duo claimed championships at the ITA Central Regional and the Kansas State Doubles Invitational. In addition to their two titles, they posted a runner-up finish at the UNLV Invitational and took third place at the Tulsa Hurricane Invitational.
