Cowgirl Golf Selected To Compete In Regional Championships

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's ninth-ranked women's golf team has been selected to compete in the West Regional Golf Championships, May 11-13, on the Karsten Golf Course in Tempe, Ariz. The Cowgirls were one of 24 teams selected for the West Regional, and the second-highest team picked from the west district.
OSU was also one of seven Big 12 schools selected to participate, as Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Missouri, Baylor and Texas Tech were all invited to the regional. Other schools from the west district were New Mexico State, New Mexico, Tulsa and TCU.
A minimum of 58 golfers from each region will advance to the NCAA Finals, including at least 11 teams and three individuals. Twenty-four teams will compete in the NCAA Championships, to be held at the Crosswater Course in Sunriver, Oregon, May 24-27.
