Cowboy Men's Basketball Banquet Set For April 18

STILLWATER, Okla. -- Oklahoma State will hold its annual men's basketball postseason banquet Tuesday, April 18, at 6:30 p.m. at the Center for International Trade and Development (CITD) on the OSU campus.
The banquet will honor the accomplishments of the 1999-2000 Cowboys, who won 27 games, fourth-most in school history, and reached the NCAA Tournament's Elite Eight. OSU is one of just 11 Division I programs with two regional final appearances in the past six years.
In addition, the team will recognize its seven seniors -- Joe Adkins, Glendon Alexander, Doug Gottlieb, Desmond Mason, Brian Montonati, Rodney Sooter and Alex Webber -- the largest senior class at OSU since the 1948-49 team had eight seniors among its 21-man roster.
Tickets must be purchased by Wednesday, April 12, interested parties may stop by the men's basketball office in its temporary location at 210 Cordell Hall. Tickets are $15 for the general public and $12.50 for OSU students. For more information, fans may call the basketball office at (405) 744-5845.
The CITD is located on the northeast corner of Washington Street and Hall of Fame Avenue in Stillwater. Parking is available on the east side of the building. The banquet will take place in the building's Exhibit Hall.
