Cowgirl Golf In Fourth Place After Second Round

HONOLULU, Hawaii - Oklahoma State's 10th-ranked women's golf team is in fourth place after the second round of the Dr. Donnis Thompson Rainbow Wahine Invitational here Wednesday afternoon, trailing first-place Pepperdine by 36 strokes.
The Waves lead the tournament with a nine-over-par 585, while the USC Trojans are sevene strokes behind at 592. Arizona is in third place with a 594, OSU is fourth at 621, and the Oklahoma Sooners and Hawaii round out the top five with a 630.
Cowgirl junior Maria Bod?n is still tied for eighth after another round of 75, while freshman Christi Cano dropped from fourth to 15th after an 80. Freshman Linda Wessberg is tied for 27th with an identical 80 today.
Sophomore Emma Zackrisson is tied for 36th after shooting 80 as well, and senior Natasha Rowe rounds out the Cowgirl scores, shooting an 82 today, good for a tie for 46th.
The tournament will conclude on Thursday with a final round of 18 holes.
