OSU's Crow To Compete In Three-Point Contest

STILLWATER, Okla. - Jennifer Crow, the second-leading scorer in women's basketball history at Oklahoma State, will compete in the Intersport three-point shooting contest this Thursday night. The event is part of the festivities at the men's Final Four in Indianapolis. The competition takes place from 8 - 10 p.m., and will be televised by ESPN.
From Indianapolis' Conseco Fieldhouse, Brad Nessler, Dick Vitale and Brad Daugherty will host this annual event. The championship will feature eight of the men's elite slam dunkers and the most accurate men's and women's long-distance shooters.
Other players competing in the women's three-point shootout are: Courtney Banghart, Dartmouth, Cal Bouchard, Boston College, Jenny Cafferty, Rice, Stacy Frese, Iowa State, Lisa Griffith, Arizona, Betty Lennox, Louisiana Tech, and Jill Morton, Louisville.
"I'm just extremely excited for Jen," said OSU Coach Dick Halterman. "She's dedicated four years to our program, and really deserves something like this. It will give her a chance to show off her skills in an area like that. Its also a great chance for her go out and show the nation how good she really is."
