Cowgirls In Sixth After First Round Of Regional Challenge

PALOS VERDES ESTATES, Calif. - Oklahoma State's Natasha Rowe and Emma Zackrisson were both tied for 17th place individually, leading the Cowgirls to sixth place after the first round of the TRW Regional Challenge here Monday at the Palos Verdes Golf Club. Both players shot a three-over-par 74 during the first round.
Arizona leads the overall team scoring with a four-over 288. Pepperdine is in second at 291, followed by USC (294), TCU (298) and Georgia (298). Oklahoma State is one stroke back at 299.
Tulsa's Stacy Prammanasudh is tied for the individual lead with Arizona's Cristina Baena at three-under 68. OSU's Maria Boden is tied for 25th at 75, while Linda Wessberg and JoAnn Heller are tied for 34th at 76. Freshman Christi Cano is tied for 55th at 78.
The tournament will continue on Tuesday with another round of 18 holes, and conclude on Wednesday with a final round of 18.
