Cowgirls Fall In Consolation Finals At Rolex Nationals

FARMERS BRANCH, Texas - Ashleigh Dolman and Maria Galoustova faced a familiar foe in the consolation finals of the Rolex Intercollegiate Indoor Nationals on Saturday.

Unfortunately for the Cowgirl tandem, the end result was the same. Texas Christians' Lucie Dvorakova and Daria Zoldakova defeated Dolman and Galoustova in three sets, 6-7(5), 6-1, 6-1 at Brookhaven Country Club.

The last time the two teams met, the Horned Frogs won 8-6 at the Texas-Arlington Invitational last fall. Dolman and Galoustova finished the tournament with a two wins and two losses.
