Jennifer Crow Named District VI Academic All-American

STILLWATER, Okla. - Jennifer Crow, a senior on the Oklahoma State women's basketball team, has been named a first-team District VI Academic All-American, it was announced today. It is the second year Crow has earned the honor.
Crow joins five other student-athletes on the regional team which includes Universities from the states of Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. Other honorees are Kera Alexander, Texas A&M, Jennifer Fambrough, Mississippi State, Tamicha Jackson, Louisiana Tech, and Ashley Norris, North Texas.
Crow, who will earn her degree in elementary education in December of 2000, has maintained a 3.89 grade point average in the classroom. While on the basketball court, she is listed in the top-five nationally in scoring, and is a Big 12 Conference Player-of-the-Year candidate.
The five student-athletes that were named to the All-District team will be placed on the national ballot and that team will be announced on Thursday, March 16. Crow earned second-team Academic-All America honors last season.
