Cowboys Suffer First Setback Of The Season

BOSTON -- The Oklahoma State men's tennis team suffered their first loss of the season at the hands of Harvard University by a count of 4-3 on Sunday.
The Cowboys (4-1) led the Crimson, who have not lost a home match since 1990, going into the final two doubles matches before losing at both the No. 2 and No. 3 positions.
Freshman Eru Lyndon got back on the winning track with a three-set win over Joe Green at No. 1 singles. However, two of the Cowboys' three remaining unbeaten singles players, Matt Prentice and Jeremy Ewert, dropped their first decisions of the year.
Fran Krepelka improved his record to 5-0 with a three-set decision over Andrew Styperek. Freshman Jiri Jezek also got into the win column, winning at No. 5 singles.
The Cowboys will return to action March, 11 when they travel to Louisiana to take on the Tulane Green Wave.
