BOSTON, Mass. -- The Oklahoma State Cowboys kept their perfect record in tact, cruising to an 8-1 victory Saturday over the Brown Bears.
The Pokes got impressive play once again from Matt Prentice, Fran Krepelka and Jeremy Ewert. All three players moved their singles records to 4-0 on the year. Prentice got OSU going at No. 1 singles with a three-set win over 90th-ranked Justin Natale, 6-4, 2-6, 6-2.
The Cowboys won five of six singles matches and continued to dominate in doubles action, sweeping all three matches for the third consecutive match. On the season, OSU has won 11 of 12 doubles matches.
Also picking up singles wins for the Cowboys were junior Chris Bates and freshman Jiri Jezek at the No. 3 and No. 5 spots respectively.
Oklahoma State will conclude its three-day road trip with a Sunday showdown against No. 20, Harvard. The Crimson will be looking to extend its 36-match winning streak. Harvard has not lost at home since 1990.
