Cowboy Netters' Advance At ITA All-American
STONE MOUNTAIN, GA. (OSU Athletics http://www.okstate.com) -- Oklahoma State's men's tennis team continued play at the ITA All-American in Stone Mountain, Georgia on Monday.
In singles action, junior Fran Krepelka advanced to the qualifying round. OSU's No. 1 doubles team of Eru Lyndon and Matt Prentice moved on as well.
Krepelka defeated William and Mary's Brian Lubin in straight sets to advance to the qualifying round, while Lyndon and Prentice defeated Southeastern Louisiana's Mats Lindelof and Thomas Comba 8-3.
Senior Chris Bates retired in the second set due to a shoulder injury suffered against Nebraska's Jorge Abos-Sanchez. Bates and Krepelka lost to TCU's nationally-ranked tandum of Daniel Wajnberg and Petr Koula 8-6.
