Cowboy Tennis Dominates Third Day Of Hurricane Invitational
TULSA, Okla. (OSU Athletics http://www.okstate.com) -- For the second consecutive day the Oklahoma State's men's tennis team swept all four of their singles matches at the Tulsa Hurricane Invitational in Tulsa.
The Cowboys continued to play well, sweeping all three singles matches from the Arkansas Razorbacks in Flight A. Chris Bates, Eru Lyndon and Fran Krepelka all picked up straight-set victories for the Cowboys.
Jiri Jezek defeated Tulsa's Mike Nammar 6-2, 6-1 in Flight B to improve his record to 2-0 on the season.
In doubles action, the nationally-ranked duo of Matt Prentice and Eru Lyndon improved its doubles record to 3-0 on the season, cruising to an 8-3 victory over Arkansas' Tiago Azevedo and Magnus Kullemberg. Fran Krepelka and Chris Bates defeated Arkansas' Oggie Kolev and Brad Berry improving their doubles record to 3-0.
The Cowboys will travel to the ITA All American in Stone Mountain, Georgia, Oct. 6-15.
