Tari Cummings Out Six Weeks With Knee Injury

STILLWATER, Okla. - Cowgirl basketball player Tari Cummings suffered a torn lateral meniscus and a partial tear of her anterior cruciate ligament, it was determined Thursday. Surgery was performed to repair the injury and she will be out for a minimum of six weeks.
The junior from Pocola, Okla., was the team's leading rebounder (9.4 per game) and second-leading scorer (17.9 per game). She suffered the injury during the OSU-West Virginia game on Dec. 31.
The Cowgirls (8-4 overall, 0-0 Big 12) will open conference action Saturday afternoon as OSU travels to College Station, Texas, to face the Texas A&M Aggies (9-2, 1-0).
