LAST TIME
Oklahoma State suffered its first loss of the conference season Wednesday night
as Texas A&M defeated OSU, 61-57, despite a 22-point performance by junior
Jennifer Crow. The Cowgirls trailed by as many as 12 points in the second half
before cutting down to two with 10 seconds remaining. Down by three at 60-57,
Crow had a three-pointer blocked by A&M's Kim Tarkington, and Brandy Jones hit a
free throw after being fouled for the final result. Senior Nikki Harmon added 17
points for Oklahoma State, but OSU's two post players, Devon Magness and Megan
Gregg, combined for just four points in the game, despite a major height
advantage. OSU outrebounded the Aggies, 43-31, but shot just 39.2 percent from
the floor, including 29.6 percent in the first half. OSU trailed, 25-21, going
into the locker room.

COMING UP
Oklahoma State will travel to Norman, Okla., for the second time this season as
the Cowgirls play the Oklahoma Sooners on Wednesday, Jan. 13, at 7 p.m. in Lloyd
Noble Arena. OSU played Stephen F. Austin and Denver earlier this year at the
Bertha Teague Classic in Norman. The following Saturday, OSU will return home to
host the Texas Tech Lady Raiders at 7 p.m. in Gallagher-Iba Arena.
COWGIRL NOTE-ABLE
Senior guard Kourtney Bower currently has 47 assists and just 16 turnovers,
leading the Big 12 Conference with a 2.94 assists-to-turnover ratio ... Oklahoma
State leads the league and is second in the country in free-throw percentage,
making 77.2 percent of its shots from the line ... Both Nikki Harmon and
Jennifer Crow rank one-two in free-throw percentage in the Big 12 ... Harmon's
5.2 assists per game is the fifth-best in the league ... Megan Gregg is just
five field goals shy of qualifying for the Big 12 and NCAA shooting-percentage
lists. Her 61.1 percent from the floor would rank third in the league ...
Several of OSU's current players will move up the Cowgirl career charts this
season. Jennifer Crow, in her third year in an OSU uniform, is currently third
on the three-pointers made list with 109. She needs just three more to own the
OSU career record. She is also sixth on the free-throws made list with 303.
Bower ranks 11th on the career three-pointers made list with 47, and sophomore
Devon Magness is already 11th on the career blocked-shots list with 37 ... The
Cowgirls will play eight teams this season that are currently receiving votes in
the USA Today/ESPN Coaches' Poll.
CROW NEARING MILESTONE
Junior Jennifer Crow is currently 114 points shy of the 1,000 mark in her
career. She already has 205 this season in 12 games and, on her current pace,
would break the barrier sometime in early February. She leads the team in
scoring, averaging 17.1 points per game, and also leads the team in three-
pointers made with 19. She is second on the team and in the Big 12 Conference in
free throw percentage, and her 74 FTs made lead the league. Jennifer has scored
in double figures in 46 of her 69 career games, and has scored at least 20
points in nine games. Jennifer recorded the second double-double of her career
last week with 19 points and 11 rebounds vs. Stephen F. Austin. This season,
Jennifer was named the MVP of the Jackson Diamond Jewelers' Cowgirl Classic, and
was named to the all-tournament team of the Beach Classic.
HARMON WELL BALANCED
Cowgirl senior Nikki Harmon was expected to be a scoring threat this season, but
she has improved her game in all aspects for her senior year. Harmon is
averaging 9.7 points and 4.8 rebounds per game. She is also averaging 5.3
assists per game from her small forward position, including a career-high 10 vs.
Vanderbilt. Nikki leads the team and the Big 12 Conference in free-throw
shooting, connecting on 38-of-41 shots from the line this year. She made 25
consecutive free throws before a miss vs. Texas A&M. Nikki was named to the all-
tournament team of the Jackson Diamond Jewelers' Cowgirl Classic, hosted by
Oklahoma State.
GREGG CONTINUES SHOOTING TOUCH
Cowgirl senior Megan Gregg continues to shoot the ball well this season, as
proven by her 61.1 percent average from the floor. She has connected on 55-of-90
of her shots from the field, which currently ranks as the third-best in the Big
12 Conference. Megan set a school record for juniors last season with her 58.6
shooting percentage. It was also the second-highest percentage in OSU history.
Her current 59.6 career FG percentage is the best-ever at Oklahoma State. Megan
was named to the all-tournament team of the Bertha Teague Memorial Classic.
FAULK SHOWS WHAT FRESHMEN CAN DO
True freshman Kara Faulk continues to impress the coaching staff, as can be seen
by her 16 minutes averaged per game as a true freshman. She is fifth on the team
in scoring, averaging 6.1 points per game, and is sixth on the squad with 3.9
rebounds per game. Kara recorded her first-ever double-double with 10 points and
11 rebounds vs. Northwestern State in the Jackson Diamond Jewelers' Cowgirl
Classic.
STUBER COMING INTO OWN
Redshirt freshman Mandy Stuber has shown what she's capable of doing, despite
her limited playing time. In just 9.8 minutes per game, she is averaging 3.9
points and 2.4 rebounds per game. She has seven assists, five blocks and eight
steals in 10 games played. The 6-2 guard has the ability to play any of the five
positions, and is able to post up or shoot the three pointer.
MAGNESS AVOIDS SOPH SLUMP
Sophomore Devon Magness it appears has avoided the sophomore slump. Despite a
nagging back injury, the 6-7 center is averaging 7.5 points, 5.7 rebounds andis
shooting 50.7 percent from the floor. Devon recorded the second double-double of
her career with 22 points and 11 rebounds, both career highs, vs. Stephen F.
Austin.

12 and Sara Jackson 10. Cheri Edwards led all players with nine rebounds. The

outscored the Lady Bears, 37-32, in the second half for the one-point win.
