Women's Golf Finish Sixth in Longhorn Classic

AUSTIN, Texas - Oklahoma State's Cowgirl golf team finished sixth after the final round of the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Classic here Sunday afternoon. Freshman Maria Boden finished tied for sixth as an individual after shooting a 76-75-78-- 229 for the tournament.
OSU dropped behind Texas Christian after shooting a 316 in the final round compared to TCU's 307. North Carolina led the entire tournament and won the team title with a 918 three-round total. Furman finished second with a 922, and Texas (928) and Texas A&M (934) rounded out the top four teams.
Anna Becker of A&M won the individual title after shooting a 74 in the final round, surpassing UNC's Megan Morgan, who led by three strokes after two rounds but shot a 79 on the final 18. The Furman duo of Jennifer Hanna and Christina Tolerton finished third and fourth, respectively, and Salimah Mussani of Texas finished fifth.
Other Oklahoma State scores included Anna Lindblom, who tied for 13th with a 233, Lotta Stromlid, who tied for 19th with a 236 as an individual, JoJo Robertson, who finished tied for 31st with a 241, Bresha Marshall, who finished tied for 40th with a 244, and Natasha Rowe, who finished with a 247 and in a tie for 44th place.
Oklahoma State will return to action March 24-26 as the Cowgirls travel to Honolulu, Hawaii, to compete in the Rainbow Wahine Inviational.
