Women's Basketball Prepares for Postseason

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma States Cowgirl basketball team will host the Rice Owls in the first round of the Womens National Invitational Tournament on Sunday, Mar. 15. Tipoff is set for 3 p.m. in Gallagher-Iba Arena.

Tickets are available now through the OSU Ticket Office. Prices are $6 for adults and $4 for OSU students and youth. All tickets will be general admission. Doors will open at 1:30 p.m.

OSU (19-10 overall) is coming off a third-place finish at the Big 12 Conference Tournament in Kansas City, Mo. The Cowgirls defeated Missouri and Nebraska before falling to eventual-champion Texas Tech in the semifinals.

Rice (21-8 overall) is coming off a runnerup finish at the Western Athletic Conference Tournament in Las Vegas, Nev.

Following is a bracket of the tournament. Should the Cowgirls defeat Rice, OSU will play the winner of the Baylor-Mississippi State game on Tuesday, Mar. 17. Site of that game will be determined following the first-round game.
