Men's Basketball -- Will HancockIn the second round of the NCAA tournament, the eighth-seeded Oklahoma State Cowboys lost 79-73 to top-seeded Duke. The Cowboys finished their season with a 22-7 record.

Women's Basketball -- Michael Noteware
Feb. 28 vs. Oklahoma
In the first game of the NIT Women's Tournament, the Cowgirls defeated Rice 75-52 at Gallagher-Iba Arena.
Oklahoma State will play Baylor on March 17 in the second round of the tournament in Waco, Texas.

Baseball -- Neal Freeman
March 18 vs. ORU
March 20-22 at Homestead Challenge-Fla.
March 24 vs. UALR
In their second game to score more than 20 runs for the win, the Cowboys defeated Prairie View A&M 23-4 at home on March 11. This game ended OSU's 13-game home run hitting streak.
On March 13, the Cowboys were shut out for the first time at home since 1996 when Texas A&M defeated them 8-0. The following day, however, Oklahoma State came back and outlasted Texas A&M in a double header. The score of the first game was 9-6 and the second game ended with a score of 9-2, both in favor of the Pokes.

Softball -- Michael Noteware
March 18-22 at Cal State-Fullerton
With a perfect 4-0 record at the OSU Cowgirl Spring Classic, the fourth-ranked softball team gained the title of its own tournmanet in Stillwater on March 14-15.
To take the title, the Cowgirls defeated Wichita State, Western Illinois, Oklahoma City, and Southwest Missouri State.
Women's Tennis -- Casey Shedd
March 19 vs. Tulsa
March 21 vs. Nebraska
The Cowgirls' tennis team claimed their second win of the season by defeating Abilene Christian 8-0 on March 8 at Abilene, Texas.
Next week, the ladies will face Tulsa and then Nebraska for the second conference match of the season.

Men's Tennis -- Blythe McCarty
March 20 at Texas
March 21 at Texas A&M
Oklahoma State's Pavel Kudrnac is now ranked number one in the nation in singles tennis, and Kudrnac and Martin Dvoracek are ranked number one in doubles competition. OSU's team has also moved up seven positions from 37th to 30th.
Kudrnac has also been named the Intercollegiate Tennis Association National Player of the Month for February.
Soccer -- Neal FreemanOklahoma State's women's socer team continued its success from the fall into the spring by winning the Arkansas Classic.
In the first game, the Cowgirls lost to host Arkansas. The came back, though, with wins over Northeastern State and Southwest Missouri State.

Men's and Women's Track and Field - Scott Dactelides
March 21 at the Oklahoma State Duals
Oklahoma State's Sherita Jackson gained a second All-America honor from the national track and field championships on March 13-14 at the RCA Dome in Indianapolis, Ind.
Jackson broke her 200m indoor school record that she set in the prelims and finals of the 1997 indoor national championships.

Women's Golf -- Michael Noteware
March 24 at Rainbow Invitational-Hawaii
Oklahoma State's women's golf team finished sixth after the final round of the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Classic on March 13-15. OSU dropped behind Texas Christian after shooting a 316 in the final round compared to 307 by TCU.
The Cowgirls will travel to Honolulu from March 24-26 to compete in the Rainbow Wahine Invitational.
