Men's Tennis Travels to Tulsa April 7

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's Cowboy tennis team will travel to Tulsa to take on the Golden Hurricane Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Harwell Tennis Courts.
In their last action, the Cowboys (6-6) defeated Oregon and Idaho after falling to Virginia Tech for a 2-1 record in the UCSB Gaucho Invitational. Senior Rob Howarth led the team in the tournament with wins over Idaho's Amod Wakalkar and Oregon's Thomas Scheitner. Howarth also teamed up with freshman Matthew Prentice to pick up two doubles wins in the tournament. Junior Jacques du Toit, and Prentice also picked up two singles wins in the Gaucho Invitational, and the tandem of Marc Paulik and Gordon Ryan added two doubles wins for the Cowboys.
Fortieth-ranked Tulsa (11-9) has won three of their last five matches, falling to 19th-ranked TCU and 5th-ranked SMU. They are led by senior Gareth Williams, who has posted a 9-6 record in No. 1 singles and a 12-6 record in No. 1 doubles with Nenad Toroman.
Oklahoma State's next action will be Friday when they face 34th-ranked Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas. Match time is set for 1:30 p.m.
