Men's Tennis Get Two Road Wins

LAWRENCE, Kan. - Oklahoma State won four singles matches and two doubles matches Sunday as they improved their Big 12 conference record to 2-0 with a 5-2 win over Kansas in Lawrence. On Saturday, the Cowboys (4-0) defeated Missouri 7-0 in Columbia.
Senior Pavel Kudrnac improved his overall record to 16-1 as he defeated Rob Silver of Missouri 6-3, 6-2 and got a win as he was ahead of Kansas' Enrique Abaroa 3-0 in the first set before Abaroa was forced to retire due to a back injury. The tandem of Kudrnac and Martin Dvoracek also improved to 14-2 as they overcame a 7-4 deficit to win the match 9-7.
Chris Bates and Rob Howarth also won two matches this weekend, and the doubles team of Daniel Russo and Howarth also garnered two victories.
In their next action, the Cowboys will travel to Corpus Christi, Texas March 6-8 for the HEB Tournament which will include teams from Minnesota, Middle Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Alabama, Clemson, USL, Tulsa, Ball State, Colorado, SMU, Georgia Tech, Texas Tech, Washington, UNLV, and Tulane.
