AUSTIN, Texas - Oklahoma State's Cowboy tennis team swept Texas in doubles but failed to defeat the seventh-ranked team in Austin on Friday. Texas lost the doubles point for only the seventh time this season.
Oklahoma State (13-4) moved to 6-2 in conference play and second place in the Big 12 with the loss. Top-ranked Pavel Kudrnac improved his singles record to 25-3 with a win over 82nd-ranked Paul Martin. Brad Chiller added a singles point for the Cowboys as he defeated 63rd-ranked Nick Crowell.
The Cowboys will return to action April 14 in Stillwater, Okla. as they face Oklahoma at the DuBois Tennis Complex. Match time is set for 2 p.m.
