Men's Tennis Falls to No. 8 Baylor

WACO, Texas - Oklahoma State's men's tennis team won only two matches Sunday afternoon as they fell to eighth-ranked Baylor 6-1 in Waco, Texas at the Streich Tennis Complex.
Cowboy freshman Matthew Prentice defeated 100th-ranked David Hodge 6-4, 6-2 for Oklahoma State's only point of the afternoon. Prentice also teamed up with Rob Howarth in doubles to upset 33rd-ranked Johann Jooste and Hodge in doubles. Howarth also lost a tough 6-4, 6-7(10), 6-3 No. 1 singles match to 25th-ranked Jooste. In doubles, Marc Paulik and Gordon Ryan lost dropped a 9-8 decision to Mark Williams and Brandon Birmingham.
The Cowboys will return to action April 16 as they travel to Boulder, Colo. to take on the Colorado Buffaloes.
