LINCOLN, Neb. - Oklahoma State's Cowboy tennis team lost to sixth-seeded Kansas today in the first round of the Big 12 Tournament in Lincoln, Neb.
Oklahoma State (17-4, 8-3 Big 12) won only one singles match as top-ranked Pavel Kudrnac defeated Enrique Abaroa 6-3, 6-1. The top-ranked tandem of Kudrnac and Dvoracek fell to Abaroa and Luis Uribe 8-6. Brad Chiller, Martin Dvoracek, and Chris Bates recorded singles losses for the Cowboys.
The Cowboys will travel to Tulsa May 15-17 for the NCAA Regionals, and the NCAA Championships are held in Athens, Ga. May 23-31.
