STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State won four singles matches at the DuBois Tennis Complex today to defeat UT-Arlington (3-2) today.
The Cowboys (2-0) also got wins in two doubles matches, while the No. 2 was suspended. The top-ranked team of Martin Dvoracek and Pavel Kudrnac defeated Christian Jaeger and Ruben Souto 8-5 and Daniel Russo and Rob Howarth also recorded a 8-3 win over Jayson Lester and Mattias Larsson.
In singles, top-ranked Kudrnac defeated Jaeger 6-0, 6-3. Chris Bates came from behind to beat Souto 4-6, 6-1, 6-0, and Rob Howarth also won his match 7-5, 7-6. Daniel Russo defeated Jayson Lester 6-1, 6-0. Both Martin Dvoracek and Brad Chiller suffered tough losses, with Christoph Kull defeating Dvoracek 7-6, 6-3, 7-6 and Mattias Larson defeating Chiller 7-5, 3-6, 6-2.
