Cowgirls at Big 12 Championships

NORMAN, Okla. - Oklahoma State's Cowgirl golf team is in third place, eight strokes behind Texas A&M and one stroke behind Oklahoma, after two rounds of the Big 12 Women's Golf Championships here Saturday afternoon at the Jimmie Austin Golf Course.
South winds gusting to 35 miles per hour kept most scorecards high. After a team score of 306 on the first day, the Cowgirls shot a 313 on the second, led by a score of 75 by senior Bresha Marshall. Marshall moved into a tie for sixth place in the individual standings with her 153 two-day total. A&M's Isabelle Rosberg leads the individual leaderboard with her two-round 148.
OSU had three other golfers in the top 20, including JoJo Robertson (tied for ninth with a 155), Maria Bodn (tied for 16th with a 157) and Anna Lindblom (tied for 20th with a 158). Lotta Stromlid, who shot a 79 on Saturday to go with her 81 on Friday, is tied for 28th with a 160.
Oklahoma State will tee off at 8:50 a.m. on Sunday with Oklahoma and Texas A& M in the final round of the tournament from tee No. 1.
