Cowgirls Complete Second Round at NCAA Championships

TULSA, Okla. - Oklahoma States' Cowgirl golf team remained in last place after the second round of the 1999 NCAA Women's Golf Championships here at the Tulsa Country Club Thursday afternoon. OSU shot a 318 during the second round, one stroke better than the 319 of the first day.
The Cowgirls struggled during the first half of the round after starting on the 10th hole. It was the same holes that gave Oklahoma State trouble on Wednesday. However, the Cowgirls picked up some strokes on the back nine, including a few birdies.
Sophomore Maria Boden is tied for 29th place after shooting a seven-over 78 today, matched by freshman Emma Zackrisson. Lotta Stromlid and Natasha Rowe each shot an 81, while JoJo Robertson rounded out the Cowgirl scorers with an 82.
Oklahoma State will tee off beginning at 12:10 p.m. on Friday off Hole #10. The tournament will conclude on Saturday with a final round of 18 holes.
