STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's Cowboy tennis team will open it's season in Oklahoma City this weekend.
Senior returner Rob Howarth will play at the No. 1 or No. 2 position. Junior returner Jeremy Ewert, junior Jacques du Toit, and freshmen Gordon Ryan, Marc Paulik, and Matthew Prentice will round out the lineup for the Cowboys.
"We're very young. We don't know what to expect. We have three freshmen and a transfer. We have four new faces and the guys that played on our team last year played low, so there isn't a great deal of expectation," head coach James Wadley said. "We're just going to try to get better every day and every match and see what our talent will let us accomplish."
The Cowboys will face Texas A&M on Friday at 7 p.m and Texas Saturday at 7 p.m. Both matches will be played at the Greens Country Club.
