Cowboys Travel to Norman for Bedlam Tennis

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's Cowboy tennis team will travel to Norman, Okla. to face intrastate rival Oklahoma on Thursday at the Westwood Tennis Complex at 2 p.m. If the weather interferes, the match will be moved to Oaktree Country Club in Edmond, Okla. later Thursday evening.

In their last outing, the Cowboys defeated regional opponent Wichita State 6-1 on Tuesday at the DuBois Tennis Center in Stillwater.

Oklahoma State (8-10, 0-6 Big 12) is led by senior Rob Howarth. Last weekend, Howarth upset two ranked opponents, Colorado's 91st-ranked Dony Papadia and 100th-ranked Dinko Verzi of Nebraska. Howarth and Matthew Prentice also lead Oklahoma State in doubles. The 47th-ranked duo defeated Sewell and Mark Mullins of Wichita State 8-4 on Tuesday.

The Cowboys will close out the season Saturday as they face Big 12 rival Kansas at 2 p.m at the DuBois Tennis Center.
